Legal Director

Blair DeMinico is the Legal Director of the Lee County Legal Aid Society. DeMinico joined the Lee County Legal Aid Society as a Staff Attorney in 2014. Blair attended college at the University of Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a double major in Motion Picture Business and Art/Art History. Shortly after graduating from the University of Miami, Blair attended law school at Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. During law school, she studied Comparative Constitutional Law in Durham, England with the school’s summer abroad program.

Upon graduating Law School and becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Blair was employed as Associate Corporate Counsel for Big Apple Consulting in Longwood, Florida. In 2007, Blair transitioned from transactional law to litigation when she accepted a job as an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. Blair moved to the Fort Myers area in 2009 and began working as an Assistant Public Defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit.

Blair DeMinico has 12 years of trial litigation experience and has represented hundreds of clients in court. Blair DeMinico is committed to protecting the legal rights of her clients.

Blair DeMinico serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Family Law Attorneys and is a co-chair of the Lee County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Committee.

When Blair isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, rescue dog and two cats.
