Free Legal Advice
Our attorneys offer free, 20-minute legal consultations for an array of civil matters. Appointments are currently being held virtually via Zoom from 1-4:40 p.m. Each appointment will be a maximum of 20 minutes. Please click here to set your appointment. No matter your legal problem, we’ll do our best to try to help. If we can’t help you, we’ll try to point you where you need to go.
Justice for All
Not everyone can afford an attorney, but everyone should be able to obtain a basic understanding of their legal circumstances and how to deal with them. The purpose of the consultations is to foster that understanding for people who are unfamiliar with the legal resources available to them and unable to otherwise obtain advice.
Swifter Justice
Our free consultations at the Self Help Center benefit everyone in the legal community. Valuable time and resources are drained from judges and magistrates who must deal with pro se litigants unable to file the proper paperwork in a timely manner, unaware of the necessary procedures, and unfamiliar with courtroom protocol. The more we can inform people, the better.
